We produce outdoor furniture specifically developed for heavy-duty use in public spaces such as urban areas, parks, schools, and commercial areas. The furniture in the Ernex City and Ernex Park series is constructed from S355 structural steel combined with Thermo Pine, and is designed to withstand harsh weather and high wear and tear for many years — without compromising seating comfort or design.
How durable is Ernex's outdoor furniture, and what can it withstand?
Ernex outdoor furniture is designed for long-term outdoor use in demanding environments. The steel is hot-dip galvanized and meets corrosion class C3. When combined with powder coating, it achieves corrosion class C4 high – the highest level for exposed outdoor environments such as coastal areas and urban spaces with high humidity. This makes the furniture well-equipped to withstand rust, moisture, and temperature fluctuations throughout the year.
Can outdoor furniture from Ernex be ordered with a custom logo for municipalities and businesses?
Yes. Both the City and Park series can be delivered with the customer's or municipality's own logo on the end panel, which makes them popular for public procurement, business parks, and companies that want visible branding in outdoor spaces. The color can be freely chosen according to a RAL code.
How are Ernex outdoor furniture and bike racks for public use assembled?
The furniture is pre-prepared for secure ground mounting with a hole size of Ø14 mm, compatible with M12 expansion bolts or adhesive anchors — a common solution for furniture in public spaces where the furniture needs to be permanently fixed. Ernex's bicycle racks (A-racks) can be mounted directly into the ground in the same way, cast in concrete, or supplied with a rail solution that makes mounting several racks in a row both faster and more precise — ideal for bicycle parking at schools, stations, and office buildings.
Are Ernex's outdoor furniture certified for public procurement?
Yes. Ernex manufactures its outdoor furniture in accordance with EN 1090-1 (certification for structural steel components) and ISO 3834-2 (quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials). These certifications are often a requirement or a competitive advantage in public tenders and procurements, and they document that production follows recognized European quality and safety standards – which gives municipalities, counties, and businesses confidence that the furniture is produced responsibly and can withstand the stresses it is exposed to in public spaces.
